Web Accessibility Policy

Purpose

FOCOS Innovations (FOCOS) understands that everyone should be able to use all of its
applications and websites regardless of their ability. All web applications and sites at
FOCoSonline must meet the statutory requirements of the U.S. Section 508 standards.

Required Notification

Each Web application or site hosted or maintained by FOCOS Innovations must contain a link
that allows all users to access this policy.
Policy

1. All new or updated web pages that are hosted or served by FOCOS Innovations must be in
compliance with the World Wide Web standards defined in the Federal Rehabilitation Act
Section 508.
2. During the development life cycle, web content should be assessed for Section 508
compliance.
3. The Chief Executive Officer may grant exceptions to specific compliance items if it is
deemed to be too resource intensive to comply.
4. Required notification shall be provided to this policy.

Accessibility Coordinator

The role of the Accessibility Coordinator is to track FOCOS’ compliance concerning accessibility
policies and to help developers ensure all web applications and sites meet accessibility
guidelines.
